Honey's next litter is projected for spring!
This little guy is absolutely delightful! He lives with his "fur"ever family in Connecticut. They are smitten by him.
Did you know that Goldens smile? We didn't know that it was a real thing until we got our first one! The first pup in this video is Todd and his brother is Santa Snuffles. They both live with their "fur"ever families in Massachussets. Maybe they will have a reunion playdate!
The first 8-weeks of a dog's life are critical in forming their temperament. They do not develop a sense of fear until after that age, so exposure to as many textures, experiences and sounds as soon as possible creates an exceptionally well adjusted dog. We handle our pups from the first hour of life. They dwell in the center of our living quarters, continuiously exposed to humans, smells and sounds.
Our Honey is a beautiful purebred English Cream Golden Retriever. She has been our baby since 10 weeks old and is now a bit over 2 years old. Honey is part of our family. She has been raised with the best care, training and tremendous amounts of love. She has a calm nature, is eager to please, highly trainable, patient and super loving. Her exquisite beauty captivates everyone who meets her.
The first litter's dad was Marlin. He is also a purebred English Cream Golden Retriever. It was important to us to pick a dad whose traits would further contribute to the perfect litter, so we had Marlin stay with us for several weeks before deciding that he was the one. Responsible breeding means mixing up the gene-pool in dogs and we have already begun researching the next stud. We are constantly looking to improve our dogs' bloodlines to produce the healthiest puppies possible.
We might be small-scale, but don't let that fool you. Professional and ethical breeding practices are of utmost priority to us. Honey's puppies will be welcomed and lovingly raised in our home in the same way that she is - we do not do kennels. You will bring home a puppy that is AKC registered and microchipped, with up-to-date vaccinations and veterinary health clearance. Furthermore, we take the stress out of new puppy ownership by providing ongoing support to you long after your pup comes home.
The following is an overview of what happens before and after you bring home your new furry friend.
The cost for a puppy is $3,500. A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required to reserve a puppy, and the balance to be paid in full when your puppy is ready to go home.
You will be added to our wait-list and will receive an email as soon as we confirm Honey's next pregnancy. There is no payment or obligations required to join the wait-list and you will decide at that time whether it is still a good time in your life to get a puppy.
You will receive an email with a contract and a payment link for the deposit to secure your reservation. We cannot guarantee the reservation until both of these are received.
Absolutely! Even though the puppies look so similar, they are actually different in so many ways. We will make suggestions based on your preferences to help you decide. We encourage you to visit us to meet the pups in person. If you can't make the trip, no worries - we can set up a video call. Reservations are on a first-come-first-served basis.
Yes! We encourage bonding with them right away. Besides for the progress photo updates that we will send you regularly, you are welcome to arrange on-site visits to start the bonding process as soon as possible. 🤩
Your puppy will be ready to leave its littermates and join your home at 8 weeks old. We provide an extended complimentary stay of 4 additional weeks for puppies whose owners have submitted payment in full but need extra time to get ready. After the additional 4 weeks, owners may extend their stay even longer for a daily fee of $75.
We are located in central Connecticut and easily accessible to those living in the New England and tri-state areas.
We believe that distance shouldn't have to be a barrier to picking the perfect pup. We can help you make arrangements with a special pet delivery service.
We guarantee that you will receive a healthy, dewormed puppy, who has received a head to tail checkup from the vet, whose vaccinations are up-to-date and is free from infection. Additionally, all of our puppies come with a 1-year health guarantee against any hereditary or congenital defects.
Absolutely! Our support does not end with the puppy sale. We consider Honey's pups as our extended family and will be life-long partners with you to provide whatever support you may need. Upon picking up your pup, you will get a folder containing registration papers, an overview of basic puppy care and what to expect as you raise them. We encourage you to reach out to us at any time throughout your ownership.
